CTIS is an IB World School and a candidate for the Primary Years Programme (PYP), with the goal of becoming a full K-12 international school system. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for university entrance, with the IB Diploma recognized by institutions in Japan and globally. Graduates are empowered to select from a wide array of colleges and universities that align with their academic and career interests.

CTIS accepts applications for Kindergarten through Middle School. The admissions process includes information sessions, which are available in English and Japanese, and interested families are encouraged to inquire via the school's website. Tuition and fees are subject to annual payment or a two-installment plan, with a 10% tuition reduction available for families with two children concurrently enrolled.

The school year includes scheduled events such as Parents' Days, where families observe classes, and various conferences. Parent-Teacher Conferences are held in the first semester, while Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences allow students to present their academic portfolios and discuss their progress. The school maintains a consistent attendance policy, requiring parents to report absences via the CoDMON system or by phone.

The school operates across three campuses in Tokyo. The Minami-Azabu Campus houses the Elementary School (Grades 1-4) on the 4th and 5th floors of the Minami-Azabu Shibuya Building. The Mita Campus serves Elementary and Middle School students (Grades 5-8) on the 2nd through 6th floors of the FBR Mita Building. The Shibuya Campus, located on the 5th floor of the SAKURA Tower in Shibuya Sakura Stage, is dedicated to the Kindergarten division.

CTIS offers an after-school program that includes activities such as parkour. Additionally, the school provides an exclusive after-school curriculum for current students, launching in April 2026, which focuses on "social English" to complement their academic English studies. Students also participate in seasonal outing events and workshops featuring industry experts and business leaders.
