Admissions decisions are based on academic potential, English language proficiency, and alignment with the school’s values.

The school operates on a three-term academic year. For the 2026-27 academic year, Term 1 runs from 17 August to 17 December, Term 2 from 11 January to 19 March, and Term 3 from 29 March to 25 June. The calendar includes scheduled half-term breaks and designated staff professional development days.

The 15,577m² campus features a four-storey main building designed by architect Kurokawa Kishō, set around a Sakura Garden. Facilities include specialist STEAM spaces, a Makerspace equipped with 3D printers and laser cutters, a spacious library, and a two-storey gymnasium known as "Big School." Outdoor amenities include a full-size all-weather Astro pitch for sports like football, rugby, and cricket, as well as an indoor playground and a Japanese Room for cultural studies.

The school offers a range of co-curricular activities (CCAs) designed to foster well-rounded development. These include performing arts, such as music and drama, and various sports. Pupils are encouraged to participate in activities that build confidence, creativity, and leadership skills beyond the classroom.
