Updated July 2026

Christian Fellowship School is a through-school for children aged 4 to 16 that provides a Christ-centred education within a supportive, faith-based community. It is a single-form entry school located in Liverpool, organised into Lower, Middle, and Upper School departments.

Teaching approach

Christian Fellowship School is a learning community rooted in a Biblical world-view, where Christ-centred living is at the heart of education. It serves families from a diverse range of churches and cultures, identifying closely with the Evangelical Alliance Statement of Faith. The school aims to nurture pupils through Christian discipleship, fostering an environment where staff, pupils, and parents support one another to thrive.

Programmes

The school provides education from Reception through to GCSE, structured into three departments: Lower School (Years 1–4), Middle School (Years 5–8), and Upper School (Years 9–11). The curriculum is designed to promote learning and personal growth, integrating faith-based perspectives across subjects including Religious Studies, English Language and Literature, Business Studies, Technology, and PSHME.

Learning support

The school aims to address most educational needs within the mainstream classroom setting. For needs requiring provision beyond what a single class teacher can provide in a mixed-ability environment, the school consults with parents to determine feasibility, which may involve additional costs. The school also benefits from the oversight of a governor with specific expertise in SEND and mental health.

Tuition & fees

No published fee schedule was found for this school.

Admissions

The school operates a three-stage admissions process: Explore, Review, and Join. Prospective families are encouraged to attend Vision Tours and Parent Collaborative events before submitting a formal application, which is then reviewed alongside pupil reports and educational assessments. As a small, single-form entry school, places are limited, and the school works closely with parents to ensure it can meet any specific educational needs within its mainstream classroom setting.

Calendar

The school operates on a termly basis, with the academic year typically concluding in July and beginning in September. The school diary includes various events such as sports days, educational trips, and celebration evenings, alongside scheduled staff inset days.

About the campus

The school is located on Overbury Street in the Edge Hill area of Liverpool. The campus supports a range of academic and extracurricular activities, including dedicated spaces for drama productions and classroom learning.
