The educational philosophy is grounded in the belief that children learn best in a calm, respectful, and intellectually stimulating environment. The school emphasizes curiosity, initiative, and responsibility, viewing learning as an active process where students are encouraged to ask questions and take ownership of their education. The approach balances strong academic foundations with a focus on student wellbeing and personal confidence.

The school follows the Cambridge International Curriculum, with English as the primary language of instruction and Portuguese taught as a separate subject. The programme is divided into Preschool (ages 3–5), which follows the Early Years Foundation Stage and Cambridge Early Years, and Primary (Years 1–5, ages 6–12), which follows the Cambridge Primary and Cambridge Lower Secondary curricula. Subjects include English, Mathematics, Science, Music, Physical Education, Visual Arts, and Global Perspectives, delivered through project-based learning, research tasks, and teamwork.

The school tracks progress through a transparent system where students complete monthly assessments in key subjects. Every two months, families receive a progress report detailing mastered topics and teacher feedback. In upper primary years (Year 6/Year 8), students participate in formal Cambridge Checkpoint assessments. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for the next stage of education and lifelong learning.

A dedicated child behavior specialist and school psychologist are part of the team to support student wellbeing, social-emotional development, and self-regulation. They provide one-to-one sessions, observations, and practical strategies for teachers and families. During the transition period, the school offers a gradual adaptation process for new students, particularly in the preschool years, with additional guidance and individual meetings.

Enrollment is open year-round for the 2026/2027 academic year, provided there is space in the appropriate age and language level group. The process includes a personal meeting with the school director, an assessment with the school psychologist, and a language interview. Families may also book a five-day trial week to experience the school environment before finalizing enrollment. A student is officially enrolled only after all required fees are received.

The school operates throughout the year, with enrollment open on a rolling basis. The school day typically runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with optional after-school activities available until 6:00 PM. Breakfast is offered at 8:30 AM, followed by scheduled snacks and lunch.

The school is housed in a three-storey villa located in a quiet, green neighborhood in Oeiras, featuring light-filled classrooms, creative and inquiry zones, and garden and outdoor play areas. The campus is situated 10 minutes from the Oeiras train station and 30 minutes from the ocean. A third-party transport service, Transportes Chico, provides optional door-to-door or route-based bus transfers for students.

After-school activities are held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and include ceramics, drama, a cooking club, sports, outdoor activities, and art and design. These sessions are designed to support creativity, curiosity, and social skills in a safe environment. Additionally, the school hosts events such as parent coffee mornings, picnics, and celebrations to foster community connection.
