The school provides a multilingual educational pathway, beginning with bilingual English-Portuguese instruction in nursery and early primary years. This progresses to a trilingual model in the 3rd and 4th years of the 1st cycle with the introduction of German, and expands to include French from the 5th year. The school integrates Cambridge International assessments, including YLE (Starters, Movers, Flyers), KET, PET, and FCE, to certify English language proficiency.

The school maintains a Psychology and Guidance Department that assists with the admissions process and student support. The pedagogical approach is grounded in Howard Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligences and the Modern School Movement, allowing for differentiated and personalized learning that respects each student's individual pace and abilities. Enrollment is open throughout the year. Prospective families must complete an enrollment form, followed by a mandatory in-person visit with the Psychology and Guidance Department to review the educational project and admission conditions. Enrollment is finalized upon the signing of necessary documentation and payment of the enrollment fee, which includes school insurance.

The academic year typically runs from mid-September to late June, with specific end dates varying by educational stage. The calendar includes scheduled breaks for Christmas, Carnival, and Easter. The 2025/2026 academic year begins on September 12, 2025, and concludes on June 26, 2026, for preschool and the 1st cycle.

Located in central Lisbon, the campus features over 600 m² of indoor space and a 450 m² outdoor playground. The facilities include spacious classrooms, a library, a laboratory, an arts studio, and dedicated sports areas. The environment is designed by architects and interior designers to promote autonomy, comfort, and well-being.

The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities starting from 12 months of age, including yoga, ballet, judo, chess, and football. Musical instruction is available for piano, violin, and guitar, and students may participate in the Astoria Choir. These activities are designed to complement the core curriculum and support holistic development.
