Admissions
The school requires a formal written application including the student's passport or birth certificate, proof of nationality, and recent school reports. For first-grade applicants, a medical certificate confirming school readiness is necessary. Admission to the German-speaking branch is generally open to students with German citizenship, those who have previously attended a German school, or those with sufficient German language proficiency, which is verified through an entrance examination in German, mathematics, and English. All admissions are subject to a six-month probationary period and the school's current capacity.
Calendar
The school year typically runs from September 1st to late June, comprising approximately 184 teaching days. The academic calendar includes scheduled breaks for autumn, Christmas, winter, mid-year, and Easter holidays, alongside various public holidays such as the Day of German Unity and the Day of the Struggle for Freedom and Democracy. The campus is located in Prague 5-Jinonice and is currently undergoing expansion with a new building designed to accommodate the kindergarten and primary school.
