The school follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum, comprising the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for ages 3–11, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for ages 11–16, and the Diploma Programme (DP) for ages 16–18. The curriculum integrates core subjects such as mathematics, language arts, science, and social studies, with language acquisition options including French, Spanish, Mandarin, and German. The school celebrated its first graduating cohort in June 2022, achieving notable results in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The school provides English Language Support (ELS) for students whose mother tongue is not English, ensuring they receive the necessary attention to achieve fluency. NAIS Dublin is a non-selective, co-educational school that accepts applications on a rolling basis throughout the year. The admissions process involves an initial enquiry, a school tour (in-person or virtual) with the admissions and senior leadership teams, the submission of an application form with supporting documents, and a final enrolment decision. For students entering the final two years of the Middle Years Programme or the Diploma Programme, a specific level of English proficiency is required.

The school operates on a term-based system. The 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic calendars include standard term dates, public holidays, and staff training days. Term 3 of the 2025-2026 academic year concludes on June 26, 2026, with the 2026-2027 academic year commencing on August 24, 2026.

Located in South County Business Park, the 80,000 sq ft campus features modern, purpose-built learning spaces including advanced science and design engineering labs, a music suite with a recording studio, and a black box theatre and dance studio. Sports facilities include a large gymnasium with a competition-sized basketball court and climbing wall, as well as a floodlit, multipurpose 4G Astroturf pitch. The Early Years Centre, Tír na nÓg, is specifically designed for younger students, and the school provides a fully stocked library and interactive technology in every classroom.

The school offers a wide variety of co-curricular activities, including sports such as basketball, fencing, and cricket, as well as clubs for animation, cooking, construction, performing arts, and science. Language options include Irish lessons, and students may participate in after-school care from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Activities are scheduled Monday through Thursday, with specific time slots tailored to different age groups from KG3 through Grade 11.
