Teaching approach

Founded in 1966, the school is guided by the principles of authenticity, personalization, and efficiency, emphasizing rigor, discipline, and family values. It promotes a culture of effort and balanced living, utilizing traditional teaching methods such as handwriting, memorization, and mental calculation while limiting screen time. The educational environment is designed to be structured and warm, fostering autonomy, responsibility, and respect for community rules.

Programmes

The school offers two primary academic pathways: the Swiss Pathway, taught in French, which leads to the Swiss Matura diploma, and the Cambridge International pathway, taught in English, which prepares students for IGCSE and A-Level qualifications. Additionally, the school provides short- and long-term language immersion programmes in French or English, as well as specialized sports-study programmes and summer camps. All students are required to study French, English, and German.

Outcomes

The school reports near-100% success rates in national and cantonal examinations. Graduates of the Swiss Matura pathway gain direct access to Swiss public universities, including EPFL, ETHZ, and HEC St-Gallen, without entrance exams. Students following the Cambridge pathway are prepared for IGCSE and A-Level qualifications, facilitating entry into international universities.
