Montreux International School

The school aims to cultivate curious, resilient, and globally minded students by pairing intellectual excellence with creativity, courage, and service. It emphasizes learning by doing, preparing students for a future where they must launch ventures and solve complex problems. The educational approach is designed to move beyond traditional grading, focusing instead on the measurable impact students create.

The school offers IB and American Diploma programmes through an innovative model called Eastwood Global Plus, which combines online academic mastery with on-site guidance from expert tutors. Complementing this is the IMPACT Program, which consists of six strands: Imagination, Motion, Planet, Action, Character, and Technologies. Additionally, the school provides 1–2 week residential alpine intensives for ages 12–18, featuring programmes such as IB Excellence, Resilience & Courage, and Life Design.

Student success is measured through the Eastwood Passport, a credential that combines academic results, an IMPACT Profile, and a Legacy Project. The IMPACT Profile, developed with the Harvard Graduate School of Education, tracks growth in leadership, resilience, and creativity. Every student is expected to develop a Legacy Project—a venture, creative work, or social initiative—that demonstrates their ability to solve problems and create positive impact.

The school is located in a restored 19th-century Belle-Époque château on the shores of Lake Léman. The campus features modern classrooms, study studios, seminar rooms, quiet focus spaces, a full boarding house, a dining hall, creative studios, and fitness areas. Students also have access to nearby sports clubs, cultural venues, and the natural environment of the Swiss Riviera for outdoor learning and alpine activities.
