Guildhouse School is a central London boarding school for students aged 15 and older that focuses on preparing international students for university success through an immersive, entrepreneurial educational model. It is the only secondary school in Europe to feature a Bloomberg Business Lab.

Programmes

The school offers a range of qualifications including A Levels (for students 15.5+), a University Foundation Programme (for students 16.5+), and a Pre-A level course (for students 15+) that provides language and subject preparation. Additionally, it provides a full-time intensive Academic English programme and UAL Foundation Diplomas in subjects such as Film, Moving Image, Animation, and Visual Communication.

Outcomes

The school maintains over 40 conditional progression agreements with UK universities. Students are supported in their university applications, including guidance through the UCAS process, to help them achieve their academic goals and secure placements at top universities.

Admissions

About the campus

Located in the Bloomsbury area of London, the campus consists of 17th-century regency townhouses overlooking Bloomsbury Square. It features a library with study tables and digital resources, and it houses the only Bloomberg Business Lab in a European secondary school, providing access to Bloomberg Terminals and the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) qualification. Boarding is provided in a secure, 24-hour supervised residence located a three-minute walk from the school, offering single or shared en-suite rooms.

Co-curriculars

The school offers a variety of events, trips, and activities to enhance the student experience. Students may participate in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and optional trips to destinations such as London, Paris, Florence, Madrid, or Berlin are available. Additionally, students can engage in supervised study sessions and social activities in the evenings and on weekends.
