International Montessori Center

The school follows the Montessori Method, aiming to integrate physical, mental, emotional, and social development. It seeks to cultivate individuality, motivation, and confidence by blending Montessori principles with conventional education. The approach emphasizes a prepared environment where teachers act as links between the children and their surroundings, encouraging freedom of choice and natural curiosity.

The curriculum is taught in English, Thai, and Chinese, covering core areas such as mathematics, reading, writing, and science. It incorporates practical life skills, sensory and motor experiences, and creative subjects including arts, crafts, and music. The program is designed to develop foundational academic skills while promoting social interaction and physical coordination.

The school maintains low student-to-teacher ratios to support individual development, ranging from 5:1 in pre-kindergarten to 10:1 in the older kindergarten levels. All staff are trained in early childhood development, and the environment is designed to foster independence, concentration, and social interaction through a prepared classroom atmosphere.

Admission is open to children aged 2 to 6 years. The process requires a guided school visit and an informal meeting with the director or administrator, followed by an in-person meeting with the child at the time of registration. Applicants must submit an enrollment form, photographs, birth certificate or passport, immunization records, and parent identification documents. If spaces are unavailable, children are placed on a waiting list.

The school year is divided into three terms: the first term runs from August to November, the second from November to March, and the third from March to June. A summer session is held in July. Daily school hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Located in the green surroundings of Sammakorn Village, the campus features brightly lit, spacious classrooms equipped with Montessori apparatus. The facility includes a library with storybooks for student use, an art room for creative exploration, and an auditorium for music and movement activities. The outdoor area consists of a playground surrounded by trees, providing a natural environment for physical development and gross motor skill refinement.

The school offers various after-school activities for students to pursue their interests. Weekly scheduled activities include music, singing, and gymnastics classes. These extracurricular options are available upon request for an additional cost.
