MITstem International School is a STEM-focused institution for students aged 6 to 17 that integrates the ACE Method of creative learning with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. It prepares students for future careers by combining academic excellence with practical, industry-informed insights.

Programmes

The curriculum covers core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, History, and Geography, with elective options including Chinese, Economics, Accounting, and specialized STEM courses. Secondary students receive early exposure to Biology, Chemistry, and Physics starting in Year 7, with the school providing up to 200 extra class hours annually for deeper learning and exam preparation.

Admissions

The school requires a formal application submission, including past school records and medical reports. Admission is subject to the school's discretion, with class placement based on age, academic ability, and behavior. Non-Malaysian students must possess a valid visa, and all Key Stage 3 students transferring from other schools are required to complete a mandatory Intensive Mathematics workshop. The school does not provide specialized support for students with learning disorders or special conditions.

Calendar

The school operates Monday through Friday. Primary school teaching hours are 9:00 am to 3:30 pm for Key Stage 2, while secondary school teaching hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Administrative office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

About the campus

The campus features state-of-the-art technology and specialized learning environments, including an Electronic Lab, a Fanuc Lab, and a Hydraulic Lab. These facilities are designed to provide hands-on experience with robotics, AI, and modern technical systems. The school also maintains dedicated training centers to support its STEM-focused curriculum.

Co-curriculars

Students participate in a variety of activities designed to enhance skills, including Hip Hop, Drama, Vocal Training, Art & Design, and Media. The school also offers a STEM Innovation Lab and an optional Leadership Camp for specific year groups. These activities are led by teachers with industry experience to foster creativity and social intelligence.
