Axcel International School is an international school providing holistic primary and secondary education that focuses on academic excellence alongside the development of practical life skills. It aims to prepare students for the future by integrating the Cambridge and Singapore curricula with a unique programme designed to cultivate well-rounded, future-ready individuals.

Teaching approach

The school’s educational philosophy is built on the 'A.S.K.' framework, which prioritises the development of the right Attitude, essential life Skills, and Knowledge. It advocates for a holistic, creative, and flexible education that prepares students for the future by fostering growth, global, futuristic, entrepreneurial, and philanthropic mindsets. The school emphasizes character development, believing that character determines success, and integrates values such as compassion, integrity, and responsibility into daily school life.

Programmes

The primary school integrates the Cambridge and Singapore curricula to develop foundational literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills, complemented by programmes like 'Little Scientist' (STEM), 'Financial Intelligence', and 'Everyone can Present'. The secondary school follows the Cambridge syllabus for Years 7-9 and the IGCSE for Years 10-11, incorporating subjects such as English, Malay, Mandarin, Science, Mathematics, ICT, and Global Perspectives. Both levels feature the 'Axcel Programme', which includes workshops on financial literacy, pitching, creativity, problem-solving, and a mentor sharing programme with industry experts.

Outcomes

The school aims to develop students who are academically, socially, emotionally, and digitally competent. Graduates are prepared for future challenges through a focus on 'A.S.K.' (Attitude, Skills, and Knowledge), with secondary students gaining qualifications through the IGCSE, which serves as a widely accepted entry requirement for universities.
