The school offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) for ages 11-16 and the IB Diploma Programme (DP) for ages 16-18. Technology is integrated across the curriculum, with students using iPads or laptops and platforms such as Google Classroom, Canva, and AI tools.

A dedicated Learning Coach provides support for students with mild to moderate learning needs through in-class assistance and individual interventions. The school also offers an English Plus programme for students requiring additional language support to access the mainstream curriculum, with the expectation of transitioning to first-language English classes within 12 to 18 months. Halcyon accepts applications throughout the school year, subject to space. The process is holistic, requiring a student questionnaire, academic reports, and teacher references, followed by an interview with the Director for qualified applicants. The school welcomes students with special educational needs or disabilities, provided they can be safely and reasonably accommodated. Sibling priority is available for families who complete the initial stages of the application process one academic year in advance.

The school year is divided into three terms, typically running from late August or early September through late June. The calendar includes scheduled half-term breaks in October and February, a winter break in December/January, and a spring break in March/April. Key events include orientation, residential trips, IB information evenings, and graduation.

The campus features versatile classrooms with Apple TVs, science and design laboratories, and a dedicated Diploma Programme study space. Facilities include a library with an extensive online catalogue, a vibrant art studio, and a hall for indoor sports and fitness. Students also utilize local Marylebone and central London facilities, such as Paddington Recreation Ground, Hyde Park, and Westminster Library, for research, sports, and cultural enrichment.

The co-curricular programme includes a mix of compulsory and voluntary activities, such as the Explorations Programme, Discovery Days, and residential or overseas trips. Students participate in a school band, music showcases, and a variety of sports including football, basketball, volleyball, dance, running, and kickboxing. Most activities are included in tuition, with the exception of individual music lessons and Mother Tongue language courses.
