The school is divided into the Primary School (ELC Preschool, ELC Kindergarten, and Elementary grades 1-5) and the Secondary School (Middle School grades 6-8 and High School grades 9-12). Learning support
The Student Services Department provides personalized learning, counseling, and health support across school divisions. The school utilizes an online application system, though paper applications are accepted. Applicants must demonstrate age-appropriate maturity, an interest in the school's mission, and sufficient English language proficiency to succeed in the curriculum. Admission decisions are based on a comprehensive review, including potential English language testing and interviews. Priority is given to students who have no other local educational options.
Calendar
The school operates a 180-day academic year divided into two semesters and four quarters, typically running from mid-August to mid-June. The daily schedule for all divisions begins at 8:20 am and concludes at 3:30 pm, with early dismissal at 2:00 pm on Wednesdays. Secondary students follow a rotating A-L day schedule rather than a fixed weekly timetable. The age cut-off for grade placement is September 1.
