NUCB International College

The school is guided by the "Frontier Spirit," a philosophy established by founder Dr. Yuichi Kurimoto to cultivate independent, creative, and ethical leaders. The institution aims to educate individuals who can bridge the gap between New Asia and the rest of the world. The school offers a range of undergraduate degrees, including the Global BBA (English-taught), BBA, BSc in Management, BSc in Economics, BSc in Commerce, and BA in International Studies. The curriculum is delivered through the Case Method and active learning, requiring significant student preparation and participation. The school also offers a 4+1 program with Johns Hopkins University.

The school is the first undergraduate institution in Japan to be accredited by AACSB International. It maintains a strong international network, including membership in the PIM (Partnership in International Management) and BGA (Business Graduates Association) networks. Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in the global business environment, with the school consistently ranked highly for its international environment and educational quality.

The school provides academic support and a Career Support Center to assist students with certifications and international internships. The school offers two tracks for admission: the English-taught Global BBA and the Japanese-taught BBA, BSc, and BA programs. The application process involves an online application, document submission, and an interview for successful candidates. Enrollment occurs twice annually in the Spring (April) and Autumn (September). Prospective students, parents, and counselors are encouraged to attend Open Campus events for consultations regarding requirements, scholarships, and student services.

The academic year is divided into two semesters, each containing two 7-week terms, following a quarter system. Tuition payments are due twice annually, with deadlines on March 15 and August 24. Open Campus events are held periodically, such as the Summer Open Campus in July.

The school operates two campuses: the Nisshin Campus, located in the countryside outside Nagoya, and a downtown Nagoya Campus. The Nisshin Campus features extensive facilities including classrooms designed for the Case Method, a library, and the Sora Cafe and Hananoki dining halls. The school also provides private international dormitories for students.

Students have access to various clubs and sports facilities. The school also organizes cultural enrichment activities, such as local elementary school visits and excursions to explore regional heritage, including pottery. Additionally, students can participate in international study tours, such as the ABEN Study Tour in Hong Kong and programs in Taiwan.
