The academic curriculum follows the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) for Pre-K1 to K2, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for Grades 1 to 5, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) for Grades 6 to 12. Students may study foreign languages including French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Mandarin, or Spanish. The school also provides a specialized Study Preparation Program (SPP) to assist non-native English speakers in reaching grade-level proficiency.

The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and is an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. Students participate in IB examinations, with the school reporting on student performance and academic achievements. The school maintains an open-entry admission policy with no entrance examinations required for enrollment. Applications are accepted year-round, and tuition fees are pro-rated based on the student's start date. Prospective families must pay a non-refundable application fee to be considered for a place or to join the waitlist.

The academic year is divided into two semesters, with the first semester typically commencing in mid-August. The school operates on a standard Monday to Friday schedule, with administrative offices also open on Saturday mornings. Located on a 110,000 square meter campus in Pasir Ris, the school features dedicated areas for Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, and High School students. Facilities include an auditorium with a 3,000-seat capacity, a drama center with a black box theater, 13 art and design studios, 11 music studios, and 16 science laboratories. Sports amenities comprise five basketball and sports courts, two swimming pools, and artificial turf sports fields, while the campus also houses four modern libraries and five computer labs.

The school offers a variety of enrichment and competitive activities, including a sports program with competitive team sports and access to sports fields and swimming pools. Students may also participate in programs such as Chess and Model United Nations. Additionally, the Parent Association organizes community events like the annual Global Picnic and coffee mornings.
