The Pontificio Collegio Gallio is a historic educational institution in Como, serving students from the nursery level through to high school. It combines a tradition dating back to 1583 with a modern focus on digital innovation, internationalization, and personalized learning.

Teaching approach

The school is founded on solid Christian values, aiming to provide a complete education that balances high-level academic knowledge with moral integrity. It emphasizes the development of "straight-backed" students who are prepared to face life's challenges with strength and honesty. The educational approach is highly personalized, treating each student as a unique individual rather than applying a standardized methodology.

Programmes

The school offers a comprehensive educational pathway including the Asilo Nido (0-3 years), Sezione Primavera, Scuola dell'Infanzia (3-5 years), Scuola Primaria (6-10 years), and Scuola Secondaria (11-13 years). At the high school level, it provides two main pathways: a Liceo Quadriennale Internazionale and a Liceo Scientifico STEM. The curriculum integrates advanced digital didactics, developed in collaboration with the CNR-ITD and Apple Education, and places a strong emphasis on high-level English language proficiency.
