The school adopts a traditional philosophy within a modern, family-oriented environment, emphasising good manners, kindness, and respect. It draws inspiration from The Curiosity Approach, Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia pedagogies to foster emotional security, autonomy, and self-confidence. The nursery rejects deterministic views of ability, instead focusing on nurturing individual talents and encouraging children to learn from their attempts and failures.

The curriculum is rooted in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and monitored using 'Birth to Five Matters' guidance. It incorporates White Rose Maths for numeracy and Jolly Phonics, alongside resources such as Collins Big Cats, Oxford Reading Tree, and Rocket Phonics for literacy. The programme balances structured learning with free play, sensory activities, and exploration to ensure children are school-ready.

The nursery maintains a strong focus on individual development, with key workers responsible for monitoring each child's progress and identifying 'teachable moments.' Staff work collaboratively with parents to create baseline assessments and track development through the 'famly' app. The school is committed to an equal opportunity framework that supports children regardless of ability, disability, or other personal characteristics.

The admissions process begins with an expression of interest via email, with registrations accepted from 12 weeks of pregnancy. The school does not offer in-person tours, providing virtual tours and video consultations instead. Securing a place requires a £150 non-refundable registration fee for the waiting list and a £1,000 acceptance fee upon confirmation. Prior to starting, children undergo three settling-in sessions and an 'All About Me' meeting with the Nursery Head.

The school operates across two sites, Fulham Road and Cortayne Road, with specific term dates provided for each location. Term dates are published for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 academic years.

Parson's Green Nursery operates two independent sites located at 630 Fulham Road and 22 Cortayne Road in London. The learning environments are designed to be calm and nurturing, prioritising the use of natural resources over plastic to provide open-ended learning opportunities. The settings are equipped to support sensory and messy play as part of the daily curriculum.

The nursery offers a range of enrichment activities, including ballet, football, French, and music lessons led by specialist teachers. Additionally, the school arranges community-focused experiences such as visits from the fire brigade, local medical professionals, authors, and interactive storytellers, as well as a spring chick-hatching programme. Children may choose to participate in these specialist sessions.
