The Philippine School Bahrain is the only institution in the Kingdom of Bahrain that delivers a Philippine Department of Education-approved K-12 curriculum to the children of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). Located on a 26,000 square-meter campus in A'Ali, it is the first Philippine school overseas to be accredited by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU).

Programmes
The academic program follows the Philippine K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum framework, which is recognized by both the Philippine Department of Education and the Bahrain Ministry of Education. It spans Kindergarten (Lower and Higher Kindergarten for ages 4-5), Elementary Education (Grades 1 to 6 for ages 6-11), and Secondary Education (Grades 7 to 12 for ages 12-18). The curriculum includes Bahrain History across all levels, Islamic Studies for Arab or Muslim students, and the Life Skills Education Program (LSEP) integrated into elementary grades through Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (EsP).
Outcomes
The school's students participate and perform competitively in local, regional, and international examinations. Notably, the institution ranks well in international assessments and competitions, including the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) and the World's Scholars Cup.

Admissions
Admission is open to Filipino students, with requirements varying by their previous curriculum. Students transferring from schools using the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) curriculum can transfer at any time, while those from non-DepEd schools may only enter at the start of the school year and must pass written assessments and interviews. Applicants must submit registration forms, Philippine passports and CPR cards for both student and parents (confirming Filipino nationality), birth certificates, health records, and academic transcripts such as SF9 and SF10 forms or scholastic records.
Calendar
The school year for 2026-2027 begins on July 19, 2026, and is divided into three terms. Term 1 runs from July 19, 2026, to October 20, 2026; Term 2 spans October 21, 2026, to February 7, 2027; and Term 3 concludes the year from February 8, 2027, to May 16, 2027.

About the campus
The school's purpose-built 26,000 square-meter campus features three classroom buildings: the Elementary School Building (Reuel C. Castro Building), the High School Building (Rodrigo C. Acosta Building), and the Home Economics Building. Academic facilities include biophysics, chemistry, and computer laboratories, alongside a library stocked with printed and digital resources. Outdoor and recreational spaces are provided for basketball, volleyball, scouting, and morning calisthenics.
Co-curriculars
Students are offered enrichment opportunities through participation in subject-related clubs and special monthly activities. These programs are organized and supervised by teachers who act as trainers and coaches. Additionally, the school supports scouting activities within its designated play and activity areas.
