Red Bus Nursery

The school aims to provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment that promotes creativity, individuality, and self-confidence. It follows a child-centred approach that encourages learning through play, fostering positive relationships and social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development.

The nursery follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, which covers seven areas of learning: communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design. Specialist music lessons are provided, and while English is the primary language of communication, basic Arabic is also introduced.

The nursery employs a child-centred approach that monitors development through ongoing observations and assessments. Each child is assigned a key worker who tracks progress in a 'Learning Journey' document, which includes evidence such as artwork and photos to support individual learning styles.

Parents may download a registration form from the school website. Upon registration, parents complete a developmental questionnaire, followed by an initial assessment within the first few weeks to establish the child's 'Learning Journey'.

The nursery operates from Sunday to Thursday, with daily hours from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Full-day and half-day care options are available.

The campus features large, bright, and colourful classrooms located on the ground floor, alongside a dedicated sleep room and a gym. It boasts an extensive garden area and what is described as the largest playground in Ras al Khaimah, with separate zones tailored to different age groups. The facility uses UK-imported resources and maintains strict safety standards, including the use of eco-friendly cleaning products.
