    Alistair joined RIC in 1997 as a novice English Literature and Film teacher after studying at St Andrews and Glasgow and teaching English overseas. He is the Principal of the college.

    Ian joined RIC in 2010, teaches Politics and History, and has led both the Lower School and the Sixth Form. He helps oversee over 100 UCAS applications each year.

    Leighton graduated from Reading University and worked in financial services for ten years before completing his Master's in Education. He is one of RIC’s Special Educational Needs Coordinators and serves as Vice Principal (Student Experience).

    Ellen led the History, Politics and Classics departments at Maidstone Grammar School for Girls before joining RIC in 2018. She is a qualified Chess Coach and leads on Academics and Sustainability.

    Kayleigh SimpsonVice Principal (Pastoral, Welfare and Boarding, DSL)

    Kayleigh has 17 years of experience in safeguarding and working with families to prioritize student safety and well-being. She has worked with the Lower School, Sixth Form, and Boarding teams at RIC.

    Ian DuxburyHead of Lower School

    Ian graduated from Durham in 2007 with a degree in Applied Psychology and is one of RIC’s Special Educational Needs Coordinators. He serves as the Head of Lower School.
