Programmes

It follows the British Curriculum, utilizing Cambridge Assessment International for IGCSE qualifications. Additionally, the school provides a bilingual programme and integrates the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for students aged 5 to 11.

Admissions

The admission process is child-centred and subject to the availability of places, school records, and a satisfactory placement assessment. Applicants must submit an application form, relevant documents, and a non-refundable application fee of RM1,000. Upon receiving a Letter of Offer, parents must pay a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of RM12,000 for students from Preschool to Year 11. Children of HELP University alumni are eligible for a registration package where the application and registration fees are deducted from the first term’s tuition.

About the campus

The purpose-built campus in Subang Bestari features student-centred learning spaces, a green courtyard with an outdoor amphitheatre, and comprehensive sporting facilities including a 25-meter sheltered swimming pool, a gym, and an outdoor sport arena. Academic and creative facilities include six science labs, three art studios, a performing arts theatre with multimedia equipment, a cookery lab, a design and technology lab, and a makerspace equipped with 3D and laser printers. The school also provides a student library, dedicated music rooms, and three playground areas for younger students.

Co-curriculars

The school offers a wide range of co-curricular activities (CCAs) designed to foster student engagement and leadership. Students may participate in the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (Bronze and Silver levels) and the Junior Award Scheme for Schools (JASS). Other opportunities include the World Scholar's Cup, STEAM fairs, and various academic and non-academic competitions.

    Mr. Martin Van RijswijkPrincipal

    Martin has over 30 years of teaching and educational experience, including more than 20 years in school leadership positions across international schools in Malaysia, Thailand, Egypt, Germany, and New Zealand. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education, a Teachers College Diploma, a Master’s degree in Education, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education. Before joining HELP International School, he served as the Principal of Whangarei School in New Zealand.

    Daniel holds a National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH), a B.A. (Hons) in Human Geography, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. With over 15 years of experience in education, he previously taught at a large primary school in South London where he served as a classroom teacher, Head of Year, and curriculum leader. At HELP International School, he has championed the Singapore Maths curriculum and leads the school's PB4L approach to behaviour.

    Felicia holds a BSc in Biomedical Science, a BSc (Hons) in Medical Biosciences, and a PhD in Medicine. She has served the school for nearly a decade in various roles, including Head of Year, Sixth Form Coordinator, and Assistant Principal of Secondary. She is an accredited school leader with the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) and serves as a Council of International Schools (CIS) Accreditation Evaluator.
