The school offers a bilingual curriculum that combines the Italian ministerial programme with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). The British American Pre-School (BAPS) serves children aged 2 to 6 using the English National Curriculum (EYFS and Key Stage 1) in a full-immersion English environment. The Bilingual European School continues this pathway for primary, middle, and high school students, utilizing native English-speaking and Italian teachers.

The school aims to develop students into global citizens with an international mindset, critical thinking skills, and initiative. It fosters a passion for lifelong learning and personal excellence, ensuring students achieve mastery in both English and Italian.

The school employs a professional Child Study Team consisting of a school counsellor, a psychologist, and a play therapist to support students' learning skills and self-confidence. It follows an inclusive model for special educational needs, utilizing a flexible and differentiated programme to accommodate students of varying abilities and learning rates.

The school welcomes applications from students who can contribute to the school community. The admissions process includes a review of previous school experience, a personal interview, and an assessment test for applicants aged 6 and older. The school considers personal background to ensure students are well-suited for the BAPS Full Immersion English Programme or the BES Bilingual Programme.

The school operates throughout the year, closing only during school vacations as per the official school calendar. The school office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Specific events, such as summer camps, are scheduled during vacation periods.

The school operates across two campuses: one in Via Val Cismon 9 for preschool and primary, and a new campus in Via Resegone 1A for middle and high school. Facilities include a 4,500-square-meter garden, a multifunctional Knowledge Centre, a 1+1 Lab for science and art equipped with a 3D printer, a LEGO Lab, a gymnasium, and a medical room. Sports activities for older students are conducted at the nearby Quanta Village.

The school offers a range of extracurricular activities, including sports such as volleyball, football, tennis, baseball, and hockey, which are held at the nearby Quanta Village sports centre. Additional programmes include summer camps, music activities using the Jolly Music method, and creative workshops based on the Bruno Munari method. Students also engage in robotics, coding, and programming through the LEGO Education Innovation Studio.
