The Marist School

The school is an outward-looking Catholic institution that welcomes families of all faiths and none, guided by the mission of "Living life in all its fullness." The school provides a continuous educational journey from Nursery through to the VI Form. VI Form students follow an enrichment programme focused on employability and leadership skills, including industry links and professional talks, alongside their academic studies.

The school achieves strong academic results, with 54% of A Level grades marked A-A in 2025 and 70% of GCSE students achieving Grade 9. In 2025, 97% of students secured places at their choice of university, including institutions such as UCL, Bath, Edinburgh, and Bristol. Students frequently achieve 100% A-A grades in subjects including Maths, Economics, Classics, Spanish, PE, and Art.

The school employs a dedicated SENCO and an SEN administrator to support students. Additionally, a school counsellor is available to provide pastoral support to the student body.

The Marist School welcomes girls aged 2 to 18, and boys in the Pre-Prep phase from Nursery up to Year 2. The school is divided into four phases: Nursery, Prep, Senior, and VI Form. Prospective families are encouraged to contact the admissions team to discuss the entry process or to book a tour.

The school operates on a three-term academic year: Autumn, Spring, and Summer. Terms typically begin in early September, early January, and mid-April, with half-term breaks scheduled in October, February, and May/June. Enrichment opportunities for VI Form students include the Tycoon Enterprise Competition, Pearson Digital Skills, the CAFOD Young Leaders Programme, MedSoc, debating, InvestIN workshops, and the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. Additionally, students participate in trips such as water sports teambuilding at Rockley Point and international expeditions like the Borneo World Challenge.
