Programmes

The curriculum covers a broad range of subjects, including Art, Business, Drama, Economics, English, Food Preparation & Nutrition, Geography, History, ICT & Computer Science, Mathematics, Modern Foreign Languages, Music, PE, Politics, Psychology, Religious Studies, and Science. In the Sixth Form, pupils typically study three A Level subjects and complete the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). The school also offers an International Immersion Programme and additional language tuition in subjects such as Arabic, Chinese, German, Japanese, Italian, and Russian.

Outcomes

St George’s pupils achieve strong academic results, with 62% of GCSE grades at 9–7 and 43% of A Level grades at A–A* in 2025. The school maintains a 100% pass rate at A Level, and leavers progress to a variety of university and career destinations. Admissions

St George’s Ascot is an independent day and boarding school for pupils aged 11–18. The admissions process is managed by a dedicated team that guides families through entry for senior school and Sixth Form, with the school preparing to welcome boys and girls into Years 7 and 9 from September 2027. Prospective families are encouraged to visit the school to meet staff and pupils, and the school offers various scholarships and bursaries.

Calendar

About the campus

Located on a 30-acre site in Ascot, the campus features a 25m, 6-lane indoor swimming pool, a 300-seat theatre, a dance studio, and a Technogym fitness suite. Academic facilities include a purpose-built library, science centre, ICT labs, and dedicated studios for art, textiles, photography, and music, including a recording studio. Sports facilities comprise a large sports hall, eight tennis courts, six floodlit netball courts, three football pitches, a sports pavilion, and indoor cricket nets. Boarding is provided in three family-style houses, with one dedicated to the Upper Sixth.

Co-curriculars

The school offers over 70 clubs, including Amnesty International, Duke of Edinburgh, horse riding, and a Year 7 choir. The co-curricular programme encompasses 18 sports—such as netball, football, cricket, swimming, athletics, badminton, and tennis—alongside extensive opportunities in performing arts, music, and drama. Pupils are encouraged to participate in local, national, and global experiences, including outreach and connections with the wider community.
