Prime International School

The school aims to cultivate strong English proficiency and rich intellectual development in its students. Its educational approach emphasizes critical thinking, encouraging students to form and test hypotheses to reach conclusions rather than focusing solely on rote memorization. The curriculum is designed to mirror the content studied by children in English-speaking countries.

The school operates two main divisions: Prime Junior and Prime Academia. Prime Junior serves children aged 1 to 6, utilizing a phonics and reading curriculum designed to achieve native-level proficiency in four language skills before elementary school. Prime Academia is an afternoon international school for students from preschool through high school, offering subjects such as reading, writing, and science. For those without prior international experience, the school provides a Pre-Academia course covering English conversation and phonics.

Prime Junior offers preparation for entrance examinations to international schools in Tokyo. Prime Academia is open to returnee students, current international school students, graduates of Prime Junior or other international preschools, and children of native English speakers. Students without prior international or overseas experience may enroll in the Pre-Academia programme to build foundational skills in English conversation and phonics.

The school is located in Ebisu, Tokyo. It provides dedicated learning environments for both its preschool and afternoon academic programmes.
