Washington School

Founded in 1950, Washington School is a dynamic educational project that balances traditional values—respect, solidarity, honesty, and commitment—with modern pedagogical innovations, including contributions from neuroscience. It is recognized as a 'Peace Embassy' for its commitment to education based on positive thinking and harmonious actions. The school promotes active learning, inquiry, and critical thinking, with a focus on developing global citizens in a bilingual, multicultural environment.

The school offers a bilingual Spanish-English curriculum for students aged 2 to 18. The academic structure includes the Cambridge Primary Programme (ages 5–11), the Cambridge International Certificate in Education (ICE) (ages 14–16), and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) (ages 16–18). Students also prepare for various Cambridge English Assessment exams, ranging from Starters to B2 First for Schools. The curriculum emphasizes project-based learning, inquiry, and critical thinking across all levels.

The school accepts applications starting in April for the following academic year, with priority given to children of alumni and current families. Applications are accepted for all levels from Kindergarten (ages 2+) through Secondary School.

The school's administrative office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Applications for enrollment are accepted starting in April for the following academic year.

The campus is located in Buenos Aires and serves as an official preparation and examination centre for both Cambridge and IB programmes.
