The school’s educational philosophy is rooted in the 400-year-old Jesuit tradition, emphasizing liberal education, personal discipline, academic excellence, and a commitment to service. It follows the Ignatian philosophy of “Formation for Mission,” aiming to form “men and women for others” who are fully alive and endowed with a passion for justice. The school also integrates Chinese-Filipino heritage, promoting dialogue between Christian and non-Christian faiths and various cultural traditions.

The school offers a K-12 curriculum divided into Early Education, Grade School, and High School departments. The academic program includes the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) and integrates Chinese studies, including the Hanyu-Pinyin approach to Mandarin. The curriculum is designed to meet both Philippine government standards and international benchmarks, incorporating subjects such as Math, Science, English, Filipino, Social Science, and Christian Life Education (CLE).

Xavier School is PAASCU Level 3 certified and has been an IB World School since 2010, authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP). Students are benchmarked against international standards through Singapore’s International Primary School Leaving Examination (iPSLE), the US College Board’s PSAT, and Beijing’s Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK). Graduates are recognized for their competence, culture, compassion, conscience, character, and community involvement.

The school emphasizes student-centered learning through initiatives like the One2One program and technology-enhanced instruction. It employs a personalized approach to education, such as the Personalized Eclectic Traditional (PET) methodology, and provides professional development for faculty through the Ignatian Institute for Teaching Excellence (IGNITE). Admissions are currently open for Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and transfer students for Grades 1–5 in the Grade School and Grades 7–11 in the High School. The San Juan campus is a complex of modern buildings situated on a 7.5-hectare property. Campus facilities include a canteen, health services, a bookstore, and specialized offices for athletics, including a football office and a swimming club. The school also provides dedicated spaces for student learning and administration, supported by an Information Technology Services department.

The school offers a variety of after-school sports programs, including basketball, football, and volleyball, with opportunities for students to participate in varsity tryouts. Students also engage in service-oriented activities and leadership development, recognized through awards such as the Bro. Richie Fernando Service Award and the Fr. Horacio de la Costa Leadership Award. Additionally, the school hosts events like the Jesuit Athletic Meet (JAM) and various student-led initiatives.
