DSC International School

Dr. Walter joined DSC in 1998 and has served in numerous leadership roles, including Grade Team Leader, Director of IT, Deputy Principal, and Principal, before becoming Head of School. He holds academic and professional degrees from Australia, Canada, the UK, and the USA, and is a registered Principal with the Hong Kong Education Bureau. His focus is on 21st and 22nd-century learning, entrepreneurship, and fostering a drive for creativity and collaboration.

Dr. Morrison has been a member of the DSC senior leadership team since 2013, previously serving as a Sectional Head in both Elementary and Secondary divisions. He holds a doctorate in International Education Leadership and Policy from OISE at the University of Toronto and is a fully qualified Ontario Principal. His focus is on lifelong learning and professional growth.

Ms. Mahoney has been with DSC since 2011, serving in roles including Secondary Arts Department Head, Middle School Team Leader, and Vice Principal (Secondary) before joining the Elementary leadership team. She holds a Master of Education in Leadership and Learning and is an Ontario-certified principal. Her focus is on fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Dr. Comeau has been part of the DSC community for over 14 years, serving as a science teacher and Department Head before becoming Vice Principal. He holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from McGill University and is completing an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Toronto. His focus includes social-emotional learning and managing change in schools.

Mrs. Marans has 20 years of experience as an educator and previously served as a Division Head with the Toronto District School Board. She joined DSC in 2018 as a Head Teacher and has held various leadership roles in both elementary and secondary divisions. She is a qualified Ontario Principal with a focus on inquiry-based learning and mentorship.

Mrs. Shephard has over a decade of educational experience, including roles as a kindergarten teacher, secondary teacher, and department head at DSC. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Education from The University of Western Ontario and various additional qualifications. Her focus is on cultivating a safe, inclusive environment and promoting collaborative learning.

Mrs. Miles joined DSC in 2007 and has held various leadership positions, including Head of Second Languages and Head Teacher. She holds a Master of Education in Inclusive Education and is a certified SENIA Inclusive Educator. Her focus is on inclusive learning and supporting all students to thrive.

Dr. Wong has 32 years of experience in education and joined DSC in 2009, where she has held positions including Program Facilitator and Administrative Officer. She holds a Doctor of Education from the University of Bristol and is a Registered Teacher in Hong Kong and with the Ontario College of Teachers. Her focus is on language acquisition and cultural understanding.

Ms. Noel joined the DSC leadership team in 2022 and has nearly 20 years of experience in education. She holds a B.A. in Journalism and an M.A. in International Relations and Diplomacy. Her focus is on creating extracurricular opportunities for students outside of the classroom.
