DSC International School is a Canadian international through-train school located in Taikoo Shing, Hong Kong, serving over 1,200 students aged 4 to 18. Founded in 1986, it is the first Canadian school in Hong Kong and offers a K-12 education aligned with the Ontario curriculum.

Programmes

Secondary students work toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), with the option to pursue the OSSD+ Signature Program across six specialized streams: Athletic Scholars, Artistic Creators, Business Leaders, Engineering Designers, Global Influencers, and Scientific Innovators. The curriculum includes international languages such as Chinese (Putonghua), French, and Japanese, alongside a Career Integrated Learning course that provides 220 hours of real-world work experience.

Graduates of DSC achieve a 100% university and college acceptance rate, with many receiving offers from top 50 and top 100 universities globally. Admissions

Admissions are open for students from Pre-Grade 1 through Grade 12, with the school hosting regular admissions seminars and school tours led by section principals. The application process requires an application fee of HK$1,000, a refundable tuition deposit equivalent to one month's tuition, and a textbook deposit of HK$1,000 for Grades 1-12. Annual tuition fees for the 2026-2027 academic year range from HK$153,700 for Pre-Grade 1 to HK$175,700 for Grades 11 and 12.

Calendar

The school operates on a 10-month academic year, with applications accepted for entry in September. About the campus

The campus is centrally located in Taikoo Shing, featuring over 100 classrooms and a dedicated school entrance on Tai Fung Avenue. On-site facilities include a health room equipped with three beds and first aid supplies to support student well-being.

Co-curriculars

DSC offers a robust extracurricular program with over 100 clubs, including a Model United Nations Club, Make a Difference Club, Debate Club, Robotics, and a competitive Dance Team. Students can also participate in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (Award for Young People) to earn Silver or Gold recognition, and secondary students are encouraged to complete a minimum of 100 community service hours.

    Dr. Walter joined DSC in 1998 and has served in numerous leadership roles, including Grade Team Leader, Director of IT, Deputy Principal, and Principal, before becoming Head of School. He holds academic and professional degrees from Australia, Canada, the UK, and the USA, and is a registered Principal with the Hong Kong Education Bureau. His focus is on 21st and 22nd-century learning, entrepreneurship, and fostering a drive for creativity and collaboration.
