The school offers a full pathway from Pre-Kindergarten (ages 2-6) through Primary (ages 6-12), with Lower Secondary (Grade 7) opening in August 2026. The Early Years programme follows the Finnish Early Childhood Education and Care curriculum, while the Primary programme utilizes the Finnish National Core Curriculum for Basic Education, adapted for an international context. Learning is delivered through integrated thematic units with a strong emphasis on literacy, numeracy, and real-world skill development.

Graduates from the primary programme are prepared to sit secondary school entrance exams in Thailand or worldwide. The school is currently in the process of applying to become a Cambridge International School to provide a recognized academic pathway for its secondary students. The curriculum focuses on developing 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creative problem-solving, to prepare students for a rapidly changing world.

The school provides personalized learning support for students, including small group sessions and one-on-one interventions for those requiring English as an Additional Language (EAL) support. An Intensive English Programme (IEP) is also available for students who need additional language assistance to meet the requirements for regular classes. Teachers are trained to recognize individual learning requirements and develop tailored experiences for each student.

The school accepts applications throughout the year, requiring a completed application form, a 2,000 Baht application fee, and submission of academic records, identification documents, and health/specialist reports. The admissions process includes age-specific assessments—informal, practical activities for early years and an assessment with the Head of Primary for older students—followed by a parent interview with the Principal. Proficiency in English is essential for participation in the curriculum, with additional support services available for students requiring English as an Additional Language (EAL) or an Intensive English Programme (IEP).

The school operates on a three-term academic year. The school office is open weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Specific term dates and holiday schedules are managed through the school's internal calendar system.

Located within the secure and tranquil setting of Boat Lagoon in Phuket, the school features bespoke, Finnish-inspired facilities designed to meet the developmental needs of different age groups. The campus includes dedicated learning spaces, gardens for outdoor exploration, and state-of-the-art security monitoring and access control to ensure student safety. The environment is designed to support both indoor and outdoor learning activities.

Finnway offers a diverse After-School Programme (ASP) designed to cater to a wide range of student interests. The school also organizes regular off-campus field trips to local destinations such as museums, zoos, planetariums, and cultural centers to enhance curriculum learning. Additionally, students participate in competitive sports, such as football, and engage in student leadership groups and team-building events.
