Programmes

The school offers a flexible curriculum including GCSEs, A Levels, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. Students can also pursue a one-year accelerated GCSE programme. The IB curriculum covers six subject groups—including languages, humanities, sciences, mathematics, and the arts—and requires the completion of an Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS).

Facilities include a Design and Technology workshop housed in former stables, an academic quad, and various boarding houses. The school provides a digital device scheme for all pupils and maintains dedicated spaces for performing arts, music, and sports.

    Hayley Robinson was appointed as the school's first Headmistress in 2024. She previously held senior leadership roles at Reigate Grammar School (2014–2020) and served on the senior leadership team at The Royal School, Haslemere (2020–2023) before returning to the RGS family as Deputy Head Pastoral at RGS Surrey Hills in 2023.
