Sutton High School is founded on the values of courage, truth, and joy, with a mission to educate and inspire girls to be fiercely independent. The school provides a continuous educational pathway from Nursery (ages 3-5) through to Sixth Form (ages 16-18). Sutton High School offers a bespoke admissions process for entry from Nursery through to Sixth Form, welcoming applications for in-year places at any time. A non-refundable registration fee is required for entrance assessments, and a deposit is payable upon acceptance of a place. The school welcomes applications from overseas students, with a significant number of pupils having relocated to Sutton from abroad.

The school operates on a three-term academic year (Autumn, Spring, and Summer). Terms typically begin in early September, January, and April, with half-term breaks occurring in October, February, and May/June. The academic year concludes in early July, with specific dates for INSET days and bank holidays scheduled throughout the year.
