Sanur Independent School

Sanur School operates on the belief that the growth of young people is best achieved through a supportive environment that balances social, emotional, physical, intellectual, aesthetic, and spiritual development. The school emphasizes the uniqueness and potential of each child, striving to create a community where differences are embraced and all contributions are valued. The school provides educational programmes for Early Years, Primary, and Lower Secondary students based on the Cambridge Assessment International Education (Cambridge) and the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) frameworks. Additionally, the school offers a Short-term Study Program for visiting overseas students, ranging from 5 days to 10 weeks, which includes English language practice, cultural experiences, and educational excursions.

The school prepares students for higher education both within Indonesia and internationally by offering the National Exam (UN) and Cambridge Checkpoints in Primary and Lower Secondary levels. The curriculum aims to develop students' academic and personal growth through a holistic approach, ensuring they are prepared for a globalized world. Graduates are supported in their transition to higher institutions or their home countries.

The school does not possess the necessary resources to provide special needs education for individual students. Parents are required to advise the Principal of any specific learning requirements or special needs prior to the enrollment process.

The school requires an initial discussion or appointment as the first step in the enrollment process. Prospective families must submit documentation including birth certificates, passports, visas/KITAS, immunization records, and previous school reports. The school provides sponsorship assistance for student KITAS, which includes a multiple re-entry permit valid for one year.

The school maintains an academic year consisting of 180 to 185 effective learning days. School hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The campus is divided into an Early Years Center located at Jl. Tukad Nyali 35-B and a Primary School located at Jl. Tukad Nyali 35-A in Denpasar, Bali. These facilities were built and renovated between 2017 and 2018 to accommodate approximately 200 students. The school grounds provide spaces for play, sports, and academic study.

The school offers a diverse after-school activities program designed to allow students to explore their passions. Participation is encouraged for all students regardless of their prior experience in a given activity. Activities include opportunities for sports, arts, and skill-building exercises.
