Singapore International School (SIS) @ Gamuda Gardens

The school is founded on the principle of 'Eastern Values, Global Education,' aiming to blend these two tenets to provide a strong foundation for future global citizens. It seeks to nurture students who are critical thinkers, technologically literate, confident communicators, academic achievers, and responsible citizens.

The school offers two primary pathways: the International Programme (Year 1 to A-Levels) and the Integrated Programme (Kindergarten to Year 9, with a transition to the International Programme for A-Levels). The curriculum incorporates Singaporean and Cambridge standards, including the iPSLE, IGCSE, and Cambridge International AS and A Levels. The Integrated Programme combines the Vietnamese curriculum with international subjects such as English, Social Studies, Physical Education, Music, and ICT.

The school enrols both foreign and Vietnamese students, with priority given to siblings of current students. Admission is subject to placement test results and class vacancies, with class sizes capped at 25 students (or 12-25 for kindergarten). Required documentation includes passport photos, birth certificates, previous academic transcripts, health certificates, and vaccination records for kindergarten students.

The academic year consists of 40 school weeks, beginning in mid-August and concluding in mid-July. The calendar includes four terms with breaks between each, a two-week Christmas holiday, and a five-week summer break in July, alongside local national holidays.

Located on a 2.3-hectare site in the Gamuda Gardens urban area, the school is a purpose-built, sustainable facility featuring green architecture, recycled rainwater systems, and energy-efficient building designs. The campus includes dedicated spaces for primary and kindergarten students, seating areas, and bus drop-off/pick-up zones.

Students participate in Outward Bound programmes, which are designed to build self-confidence, teamwork, perseverance, and effective communication through challenging outdoor expeditions. These programmes are available for upper primary, secondary, and high school students.
