The school offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum across all grade levels. The academic programme is supported by highly-skilled faculty and specialists in areas such as visual and performing arts, film, languages, and physical and health education. The Senior School (Grades 10-12) includes specific IB systems and preparation for university, while Middle School (Grades 6-9) introduces entrepreneurship and elective pathways.

Mulgrave graduates pursue diverse, global post-secondary paths across Canada, the US, Europe, and Asia. The school’s university and careers counselling department provides dedicated guidance for course selection and post-secondary applications. The programme aims to equip students with the confidence, resilience, and skills to thrive in a culturally diverse and interdependent world.

The school provides social-emotional counsellors and a curriculum focused on developing executive functioning and self-management skills. Additionally, a Financial Assistance Programme offers needs-based support to help families overcome financial barriers, with funding ranging from 5% to 100% of tuition. This support may include 'wraparound' coverage for items such as uniforms, school bus service, and school trips.

Mulgrave is a gender-inclusive, secular IB World School that serves students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12. The school maintains a competitive applicant pool, with primary intake years at PK3, PK4, Kindergarten, Grade 7, and Grade 10. Admissions are handled directly by the school without the use of agents or consultants, and the process focuses on getting to know families authentically. Applications for the 2027-28 school year open on July 2, 2026.

The school operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with specific start and end times varying by division. Early Years (PK3-PK4) run from 8:30am to 3:15pm, Junior School (K-Grade 5) from 8:15am to 3:15pm, and Middle and Senior Schools (Grades 6-12) from 9:00am to 3:45pm or 3:55pm respectively. All divisions observe a late start on Tuesdays and early dismissal on Fridays. Detailed calendars for each division, athletics, and university counselling are available through the secure My Mulgrave portal.

Located in West Vancouver, the campus features purpose-built learning spaces including science labs, libraries, design and makerspaces, a film studio, a theatre, and a black box. Athletic and recreational facilities include gyms, a dance studio, a climbing centre, and a nature trail. The campus also provides a cafeteria, a school store, and bus transportation services. Safety is supported by on-campus security camera technology.

The school offers a broad range of co-curricular activities, clubs, and electives designed to enrich the student experience. These include athletics, arts, entrepreneurship, and service and leadership opportunities. Students also participate in outdoor education, which includes overnight camps starting in Grade 3 at the Squamish Outdoor Leadership and Education (SOLE) Centre. Local GEx experiences are included in the fees for students in Grades 6-10.
