Keiki Intercultural Preschool values children as unique individuals and encourages them to take responsibility for their own learning. The school offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), which is tailored for early learners aged 3 to 6, alongside programmes for the Early Years (ages 1-3) and Willow Tree Academy (ages 6-12). The curriculum is transdisciplinary and inquiry-based, focusing on six themes that integrate subjects like science, storytelling, and art. The programme emphasizes the IB learner profile, aiming to develop attributes such as being knowledgeable, principled, and reflective.

The school prioritizes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive well-being of its students. Support includes in-class interventions, circle time, and dedicated programmes focusing on conflict resolution, healthy relationships, resilience, and self-esteem. Staff also emphasize healthy living through PE, science, and social science, and offer balanced lunch and snack options.

The school accepts students throughout the year, provided space is available. The process involves an initial inquiry, a school tour and interview with the Director, and the submission of application forms, health records, and previous school reports. Successful applicants receive an acceptance letter and must pay a non-refundable registration fee to secure their place, followed by an orientation session for the family and teacher.

The academic year is divided into three terms: Term 1 (late August to mid-December), Term 2 (early January to mid-March), and Term 3 (late March to mid-June). The school also offers seasonal programmes, including Winter School, Spring School, and Summer School. Regular school hours are 9:00 AM to 2:20 PM.

Located in Setagaya, Tokyo, the campus is situated between Seisen International School and St. Mary’s International School. The school provides a bus service and is accessible via public transport from Kaminoge and Yoga stations. The facilities are designed to be safe and inspiring spaces that support play-based learning and exploration.

Extracurricular offerings include programmes such as Creative Hearts and Express Yourself. The school also hosts family-oriented events like Family Date Night and provides seasonal camps, including a Summer School programme. Additionally, early bird and extended care services are available.
