Saint-Lambert International

The school operates under the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework, emphasizing the IB Learner Profile. It is committed to acknowledging its location on unceded Indigenous lands, specifically recognizing the Kanien’kehà:ka (Mohawk) Nation as the custodian of the territory. The institution fosters a diverse community while maintaining links to its historical roots dating back to 1875.

The school offers a secondary curriculum spanning Secondary One through Secondary Five. The academic programme is structured around departments including English, Français, Physical Education, Arts, Social Sciences, Science, and Mathematics. Students also engage in the IB Personal Project as part of their academic requirements.

Academic support is available through teacher consultations and sessions held in the library on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons. Students may also access peer tutoring or utilize external resources such as LEARN Quebec for professional online tutoring and AlloProf for curriculum-based support. The school provides guidance on academic integrity, including an MLA style guide and essay checklists.

Prospective families must contact the school’s registration technician to initiate the process. Required documentation includes the student’s long-form birth certificate, proof of English eligibility, the most recent report card, and proof of residence. While students currently enrolled in Grade 6 within the Riverside School Board register through their elementary schools, those residing outside the designated zones of Le Moyne, Longueuil, Saint-Hubert, and Saint-Lambert must submit an out-of-zone request.

Located at 675 rue Green, the campus underwent extensive renovations and additions completed in 2009. The facility includes a state-of-the-art gymnasium, a library, and a dedicated student resource center. The school also provides specialized spaces for academic work, including science laboratories.

The school offers a variety of student-led initiatives, including a Student Council that participates in leadership development camps. Students also manage a thrift store known as "A Second Look." Additionally, the school maintains a robust athletics program as part of the South Shore Interscholastic Athletic Association (SSIAA), featuring teams for cross-country running, field hockey, golf, soccer, badminton, volleyball, curling, track and field, and basketball.
