Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School

The academic programme is guided by the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework, the Australian Curriculum, and the Lutheran Education Christian Studies curriculum. The curriculum incorporates specialist subjects such as Music, Japanese, Art, and Physical Education, alongside a 1:1 iPad programme for students in years 3–6. STEM subjects are integrated into the curriculum through units of inquiry and specific skills training like coding and robotics.

The school operates on a four-term academic year. Weekly routines include Monday assemblies and Friday morning chapel services held in the Worship Centre, as well as Friday morning playgroup sessions. The calendar features various community events, including parent information nights, sports carnivals, celebration of learning days, and seasonal community breakfasts.

The campus features contemporary, flexible learning spaces, including a dedicated multimedia room, a multi-purpose music and performing arts centre, and a Worship Centre. Outdoor facilities include three playgrounds, a nature play area, three ovals, and access to the adjacent Richardson Reserve. A recent refurbishment program has introduced specialized areas such as a wellbeing and sensory room and a 'green room' for STEM activities.

Students have access to a range of co-curricular activities, including music tuition, choir, and band. The school offers specialist sports programs and participates in SACSA sporting events such as swimming, athletics, cross country, soccer, netball, and AFL. Additionally, students engage in outdoor education, service learning, and special interest groups.
