About the campus

Pembroke is located on two main campuses in Kensington Park, Adelaide: the Girton Campus (Junior and Senior School) and the King's Campus (Middle School). Facilities include the Shipsters Road Building for Art, Science, Design, and Digital Technology, the John Moody Centre with dining and café facilities, and access to Kensington Oval and Haslam Oval. Additionally, the school operates Old Watulunga, a 17-hectare Environmental Education Centre on the Finniss River used for outdoor education programs such as kayaking, sailing, and bushwalking.

Co-curriculars

    Lawrence commenced at Pembroke in 2017 and has held roles including Head of Oats House and Assistant Head of Senior School. He is a Pembroke old scholar and an experienced Mathematics teacher with a background in pastoral care leadership.

  • Alexandra PiggottHead of Senior School

    Alexandra commenced at Pembroke in 2005 and manages the Senior School, overseeing approximately 450 students. She is a highly experienced teacher who has worked in the UK and served as a Chief Assessor for the SACE and an examiner for the IB Diploma Programme.

  • Doug FawcettHead of Boarding

    Doug moved to Australia in 2015 and has an extensive teaching and boarding background, including roles at Guildford Grammar and The Armidale School. He is passionate about cultivating a welcoming boarding house environment where students feel heard.

  • Amanda BourchierDirector of Community Engagement & Indigenous Education

    Amanda has been a member of the Pembroke community for over 30 years, having previously served as Deputy Head and Acting Head of Girls’ Boarding. In 2019, she was appointed Director of Indigenous Education and Community Engagement.
