Uplift Education is the largest free public charter school network in North Texas, serving over 23,000 students in pre-k through 12th grade across 20 campuses. The network utilizes the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum to prepare students for college and career success.

Teaching approach
The mission of Uplift Education is to create and sustain public schools of excellence that empower students to reach their highest potential in college and the global marketplace. The network aims to inspire a lifelong love of learning, achievement, and service, fostering an environment where students learn to think critically, ask questions, and grow into confident, caring leaders.
Programmes
Uplift Education utilizes the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework across all grade levels. The Primary Years Programme (PYP) for grades K-5 focuses on interdisciplinary themes like "How the world works" and "Sharing the planet." The Middle Years Programme (MYP) for grades 6-10 bridges foundational learning with high school requirements, while the Diploma Programme (DP) for grades 11-12 offers college-level coursework, including Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). The network also features a "Road to College & Career" program that provides career exposure, college field trips, and alumni support.
Outcomes
Uplift Education has achieved a 100% college acceptance rate for its graduates since 2002. The network reports an 85% college matriculation rate, with 75% of students being first-generation college attendees. Graduates who earn an IB Diploma are eligible for 24 hours of college credit at Texas public universities.

Admissions

Calendar

Campuses are designed with a focus on safety, featuring gated and fenced perimeters, locked lobbies with electronic access, security cameras, and locked exterior and classroom doors. Each school is staffed with police officers. Facilities include classrooms, cafeterias, and administrative offices, with specific staff members designated to assist families with meal accounts, uniforms, and medical issues.
Co-curriculars
Campuses offer a variety of clubs and extracurricular activities that vary by location and student interest, such as cheerleading and Folklórico. The network also hosts specialized programs like the Pee Wee Skills Camp for elementary students to develop athletic fundamentals. Additionally, students participate in a network-wide IB Showcase to present top year-end projects.

She holds a Doctorate in Education from Johns Hopkins University and is an alumna of the Pahara and Greenhouse E3 Fellowships.
