Uplift Wisdom High School

The school's mission is to create and sustain a public school of excellence that empowers students to reach their highest potential in college and the global marketplace. It aims to inspire a life-long love of learning, achievement, and service, fostering an environment of stability, belonging, and safety.

Uplift Wisdom utilizes the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, with the high school authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme. The academic structure includes the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for younger students and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for grades 6–10, both of which are in the consideration or candidacy phase of authorization. The school also features the Road to College & Career (RTCC) program, which provides career exposure, college field trips, and alumni support.

Uplift Wisdom is part of a network where 100% of graduates have been accepted to college for over 20 years. Students in the high school have the opportunity to earn an IB Diploma, which provides guaranteed college credit at Texas public universities and is associated with higher college graduation rates.

The school provides comprehensive social and emotional learning (SEL) through daily lessons, frequent student surveys, and licensed behavioral counselors on campus. Additionally, a one-way dual language program is available for students in Pre-K through 2nd grade, supporting Spanish-speaking students in acquiring proficiency in both English and Spanish.

Uplift Wisdom is a free public charter school that utilizes an application and lottery process for enrollment. Prospective families are encouraged to schedule a tour or contact an application advisor for assistance with the process. Pre-K students are housed at the Uplift Pinnacle campus, with guaranteed seats at Uplift Wisdom for Kindergarten and beyond.

The school follows a standard academic calendar, with specific dates for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 school years available in both English and Spanish. The academic year is structured to support the school's rigorous curriculum and college-readiness goals.

Located in South Oak Cliff, the campus features a secure environment with gated and fenced grounds, locked lobbies with electronic access, security cameras, and locked exterior and classroom doors. The school is staffed with police officers to ensure student safety.

The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities to help students explore interests and build social skills, including Scholar Council, Chess, eSports, Debate, and Entrepreneurship. Athletic programs for middle and high school students, known as the Warriors, include basketball, cheerleading, soccer, flag football, volleyball, track, and tackle football.
