Westminster School welcomes applications for students from Early Learning to Year 12. The school operates on a four-term academic year. Standard school hours are 8.45 am to 3.30 pm. The calendar includes compulsory boarder exeats each term and observes public holidays such as Australia Day, Adelaide Cup Day, Anzac Day, the King's Birthday, and Labour Day.

Set on a 23-hectare campus, the school features the Michael Murray Centre for Performing Arts, the Forder Centre, and the Styles Centre for Inquiry & Innovation, which houses STEAM facilities, science labs, and a commercial kitchen. Sports facilities include the Thomas Pavilion, a Sports and Swimming Centre with a 10-lane indoor heated pool, multiple ovals, courts for various sports, and the 4.5-hectare Sturt Grove Farm.
